Donegal Rapeseed Oil infused with Garlic:

  • Make fresh garlic croutons by frying cubes of bread in the Donegal Rapeseed with Garlic.
  • Drizzle the Garlic oil over a baguette/ciabatta to make a garlic bread, add a sprinkle of cheese.
  • For a tasty mashed potato, add in a 1/2 – 1 tsp of this with butter, leave out the milk.
  • Garlic dip- add some of the garlic to mayonnaise & whip in.
  • Also perfect for drizzling over a pizza for that extra kick.
  • Garlic Potato Wedges; scrub some large potatoes and cut into 8 wedges. Par boil for approx 5-8 minutes. drain and place in a bowl, toss in the Garlic infused oil and your favourite herbs & spices. Bake in the oven for approx 25 minutes at 180C.

Donegal Rapeseed Oil with Chilli:

  • Saute onions in the Chilli oil and add a small amount of sugar for sweetness or vinegar for a sweet and sour onion.
  • Add it to cooked Cous Cous, boiled rice or pasta for a hint of heat.
  • Add a drizzle to your stuffed portabella mushrooms for extra flavour & bake or grill.
  • Before cooking your steak, marinade it in our chilli oil. No need for any more oil in the pan, cook as normal.
  • To add a bit of spice into your soup or stew, sweat your vegetables in the chilli oil and when serving, garnish with a drizzle more.

Donegal Rapeseed Oil with Lemon:

  • For mash served with fish, add Donegal Rapeseed Oil with Lemon (1/2 – 1 tsp), place cooked fish on top of the mash and drizzle with a little melted butter and lemon oil with chopped parsley.
  • Drizzle it over chicken before roasting for extra flavour.
  • Drizzle it over fish before and after baking/cooking.
  • Add a drizzle over vanilla ice cream for a refreshing dessert.
  • Simply add it to hot cooked green veg, such a asparagus.
